UNISSI maintains, operates and repairs PSA oxygen plants at 31 hospitals across Jammu & Kashmir, from SKIMS and the Government Medical Colleges to sub-district hospitals on the Line of Control. We also look after medical gas pipelines and keep plant rooms supplied with spares.

Most J&K contracts combine CMC with operation, so the same team that services the plant also runs it every day.

Which hospitals in Jammu & Kashmir does UNISSI maintain oxygen plants for?
Our current contract book covers 31 hospitals in Jammu & Kashmir, including SKIMS Srinagar, the Government Medical Colleges at Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Baramulla and Udhampur, SMGS Hospital Jammu, the Psychiatric Hospital Jammu, District Hospital Budgam, and sub-district hospitals at Tangdar, Gurez, Uri, Kangan, Tangmarg, Kreeri, Beerwah and Charar-i-Sharief.
Do you provide plant operators in Jammu & Kashmir?
Yes. Several of our J&K contracts are CMC plus operation, with trained operators stationed at the plant. These include the sub-district hospitals in Baramulla and Handwara divisions, District Hospital Budgam, GMC Kathua and the associated hospital of GMC Rajouri at Kheora.
Can you work on PM CARES and DRDO oxygen plants in J&K?
Yes. We have restored and maintain PM CARES plants, including the 1,000 LPM DRDO plant No. 3 at GMC Rajouri and the 1,000 LPM L&T plant at GMC Baramulla. We also service Oxymat, Oxywise and Ozcan plants.
How do J&K hospitals award oxygen plant CMC to UNISSI?
Mostly through e-tenders of the Mechanical & Hospitals Divisions of the J&K PWD (Baramulla, Handwara, Anantnag, Jammu and SKIMS divisions) and through orders from the Government Medical Colleges. UNISSI is an MSME-registered small enterprise.
